It's always fun to see how far your money will go on Craigslist. Inspired by March Madness and my Alma Mater's continued advancement in the NCAA basketball tournament (Boomer Sooners!), I wanted to pick a sweet 16 of my own —16 sweet Craigslist scores, if you will.
By score I mean really cool used furniture that's for sale dirt cheap. A sweet score is Craigslist furniture so cool your family and friends will be jealous they didn't find it first!
To that end, here are my picks for 16 sweet Craigslist scores that can be yours right now for $50 or less:

1. Vintage painted chair — $40
This painted vintage chair will bring out the best in any room.
2. Antique iron headboard — $50
I love the chippy, white paint on this shabby chic antique iron headboard.
3. Tufted bar stools — $50
White tufted upholstery together with nailhead trim gives these bar stools a look of casual elegance.
4. Tufted sofa — $30
Thirty dollars is already an insanely low price for a tufted sofa in good used condition, but the seller says he's still willing to negotiate.

5. Pottery Barn Baskets — $40 ea. / $60 pair
These two baskets from Pottery Barn have matching lids; they're like-new; and better still, they can be yours for 75% OFF retail!
6. Mid-century chrome sofa table — $50
Seldom do I see a vintage chrome sofa table from the mid century for under $150. This one won't last at fifty bucks!

7. Bamboo serving table — $49
Two words... tray chic! This Chinoiserie style bamboo tray table sits on a folding trestle base for use as a table and the tray lifts off for serving.
8. Upholstered chair — $50 OBO
Compared to all-white upholstery (which usually doesn't stay white for long) the tone on tone Damask covering this comfy-looking chair will hide a multitude of sins.
9. Antique folding screen / room divider — $50
As functional as it is beautiful, this wooden antique Chinese folding screen can divide a room into separate spaces or add a little privacy.
10. Oil Painting — $50
This beautifully framed oil painting on canvas is from a historic mansion in Heritage Hills.
11. Sleeper Sofa — $49
Here we have a used sleeper sofa with a feature that's all but impossible to find at this price... It's not the least bit ugly. (Score!)
12. Iron & glass end tables — $25 ea. / $40 pair
Quality iron and glass tables are as durable as they are versatile. These are like-new, each with two glass shelves.
13. Industrial metal drafting stools — $35
These industrial metal drafting stools have 'repurpose' written all over them! They're 24" tall at the seat — perfect for counter height bar stools!
14. Ottoman / Bench — $40
Shut up and take my money! I love this ottoman so much I should marry it!
15. Bamboo Folding Chairs — $25
Bamboo folding chairs never go out of style. $25 is a good price, too. The cheapest I have found them elsewhere is for $35 ea. (Please let me know if you find them for less!)
16. Coffee table & TV entertainment stand — $50/both
Believe it or not, you can buy both pieces of solid wood living room furniture that you see here, the coffee table and TV entertainment stand, as a set for $50! Crazy, I know. But that's Craigslist.
