Karastan Wool Rug
It's hard not to be a wee bit jelly of Mary Toon and her fabulous 12' x 9' Karastan wool rug. New Karastan rugs this size run anywhere from $1500 - $2600 on eBay and Mary managed to snag this beauty for 90 bucks! Great find Mary!

Snoopy Christmas Ornament
eBay coach, Suzanne A. Wells posted this garage sale find on behalf of Lori Sauders Farmer. Lori told Suzanne that she paid eight cents for the vintage Snoopy Christmas ornament at a Church Garage Sale then listed it on eBay for $54.99. It sold in 15 minutes.

Folk Art and Bamboo Chairs
My first Garage Sale Finds of the season! The duck is hand-painted folk art — an absolute steal at $2.50! (I'm surprised she accepted my offer.) I found the Chinoiserie chairs on Sunday afternoon at a Garage Sale in Quail Creek. They were actually on hold for someone who didn't show to pick them up, so I got lucky. Here's one that will inspire you to get out there and scour garage sales. Stacy Klontz found this gorgeous Mid Century Modern Broyhill credenza for just $25. I've seen similar MCM credenzas sell on eBay for $500 - $3,800.

Treasurenet forum member, Dejapoo, had a feeling the vintage calculator he found at a garage sale was worth more than its $2 price tag. He couldn't get phone reception and verify the hunch, but it was mint, in the box with the original manuals, so he snapped it up anyway. Turns out, the vintage HP 71B isn't a calculator after all. He'd found a vintage HP hand-held computer and sold it on eBay for $425 +shipping.
