When I first saw this tongue-in-cheek garage sale ad I was afraid 10-year-old girls eager to meet their idol would turn out in droves for this sale, only to be bitterly disappointed when Katy Perry didn't show.

One of the more creative yard sale signs we've seen reads,  "Is it a Yard Sale or a really inexpensive department store? Come and see for yourself!" At the very least, I would feel compelled to stop by this yard sale and compliment the sign maker. How about you? Do creative yard sale signs motivate you to check out sales more than the average sign?
